AYA Individual House Architect of the Year!
GWA took home the prestigious Individual House Architect of the Year Award at the AYA Ceremony in October 2025. The Judges said; “Graeme Williamson Architects impressed with two beautifully crafted homes, seamlessly integrated into suburban sites. Their crisp detailing and refined material choices reflect a thoughtful, elegant approach to small-scale design, maximising space while enhancing the character of existing neighbourhoods.
Twin House, Hackney 2025
This year sees the completion of Twin House, a ‘double’ home for a blended family. The form of the house has been designed to embody the duality of the family unit.
Currently shortlisted for AJ House of the Year / Manser Medal and Dezeen Urban House of the Year Awards.
Catslide House, Hertfordshire 2024
GWA have recently completed a new build home set within a row of 1970s houses. The house borrows form the motifs of the period through its corbeled brickwork, asymmetric roof form and sculptural chimney stack.
The project has been shortlisted this year for an RIBA EAST award.
